The world’s top women’s golfer had to pull out of a tournament after she was bitten by a dog.
Nelly Korda, a two-time major champion, announced on her Instagram Story on Friday that she is unable to compete next week in London.
“I regret to announce that I must withdraw from next week’s Ladies European Tour tournament in London. On Saturday in Seattle, I was bitten by a dog and need time to receive treatment and recover fully,” Korda wrote.

Korda won this year’s Chevron Championship and the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship.
