Elin Nordegren is moving on. The Swedish model, perhaps best known as Tiger Woods’s ex-wife, has decided to put her 23,000-square-foot North Palm Beach, Fla., home on the market for $49.5 million. The price tag is
justified, however, given that the 11-bedroom, 18-bathroom home features, in addition to its main house, two two-bedroom apartments on the 1.4 acre property that also have their own kitchens and living rooms. (Nordegren originally purchased the property for $12.25 million in 2011 following her much-publicized $100 million divorce from Woods). The main house itself, built in a British West Indies style, features numerous state-of-the-art amenities, including retractable glass walls on the ground floor that open out from the massive kitchen onto an al fresco dining room and family room. The ground floor also includes a more formal dining and living space.
A ceiling-to-floor three-story chandelier hangs down alongside a set of stairs winding up to the upper floor. The master suite is the epitome of luxury, with two separate baths, a walk-in closet, three fireplaces and a balcony that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Other amenities in the home include a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a
movie theater, a catering kitchen, a fitness center and a four-car garage. Outside in the backyard, the model’s home features a swimming pool complete with a waterslide and spa, lounge areas with fire pits, a basketball court and a putting green. A spokesperson for Elin Nordegren
