Novak Djokovic got an opportunity to join in on the raging party that hasn’t stopped since Nikola Jokic took home the 2023 NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets.
The two sports superstars were spotted in the same club in their shared homeland of Serbia, just days after Djokovic took home his ninth US Open title.

The Serbians had reason to celebrate
Djokovic’s US Open title was the 24th major win of his storied career. He has moved one ahead of Serena Williams for the most major championships in the Open era. The 24th was special, as Djokovic honored the late Kobe Bryant after the win.
Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic never stopped celebrating the Denver Nuggets’ NBA championship from June. The Finals MVP decided not to join the Serbian national team at the FIBA World Cup this summer, but the team still finished as the runner up to Germany.
