Sunday night, US Olympic gymnast Simone Biles won first overall at the Olympic trials and locked in her spot on the US Olympic team. And when she is competing in Paris, she will have her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, there for at least a portion of it.
According to Biles, via USA TODAY, the Bears are giving Owens a few days off during Chicago’s training camp so he can go to Paris and watch his wife go for the gold. The Olympics run from July 26 through August 11. Bears training camp practices start on July 19 and run until August 15.
