Serena Williams and her new husband Alexis Ohanian jetted to a private Bahamian island for a lavish nine-day getaway
After exchanging vows and partying the night away in New Orleans at their opulent wedding on Nov. 16, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian jetted to the private Bahamian island of Kamalame Cay for a romantic honeymoon, PEOPLE exclusively confirms.
With their 2-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia in tow, the newlyweds — who booked their nine-day getaway on Booking.com — settled into a secluded villa on the 96-acre property, which is located less than a mile off the world’s third largest barrier reef in Andros.

The couple’s lavish 3,600 sq. ft. Magnolia villa is accessible only by helicopter, private boat or a FlyTropic seaplane, and Williams even practiced at their oceanside tennis court.
Williams posted a brief video of herself on the island to Instagram Tuesday morning, calling the honeymoon “a week in paradise.”
Featuring 20-foot ceilings, the villa’s bedrooms were decorated with furnishings sourced from Bali and India and opened onto a 1,500-sq. ft. beachfront terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
